MONTREAL, Jan. 3, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - The Union of Canadian Correctional Officers (UCCO-SACC-CSN) have been informed that criminal charges have been laid today against two correctional officers from Dorchester Institution, in the Atlantic region. The union is supporting these officers to ensure they have adequate representation, as they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
As this case is now before the court, the union will not make any further comment so as not to interfere with legal proceedings.
