TORONTO, May 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Yorkdale Shopping Centre management and staff continue to work with Toronto Police Services since the incident that occurred early this morning. Customer safety is always our primary concern and our Security department are cooperating and providing investigative assistance to Toronto Police Services. We thank Toronto Police Service and emergency services for their rapid response and for making safety at Yorkdale and in our communities their number one priority.

Yorkdale Shopping Centre is committed to providing a safe shopping experience for our customers and staff alike. Crimes such as what occurred early this morning have no place in our city and we encourage anyone with any information to contact Toronto Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
