OTTAWA, Jan. 27, 2016 /CNW/ - Statistics Canada is preparing for the next Census of Population, which will take place in May 2016. However, for residents in First Nations communities, enumeration will begin in April 2016.
Join the 2016 Census team! Staff are required to visit each household in First Nations communities to conduct personal interviews with respondents. Census information is vital for planning services related to housing, employment, education, health care and other initiatives related to the well-being of residents of your community.
Temporary positions are available at the supervisory and non-supervisory levels, as follows:
The rates of pay range from $16.31 to $19.91 an hour, plus authorized expenses. Applicants must be 18 years or older, eligible to work in Canada, and able to commit to at least 20 hours a week, including days, evenings and weekends, as needed. A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle may be required in certain areas.
