Steelworkers, Cameco Reach Tentative Agreement
SASKATOON, Oct. 21 /CNW/ - United Steelworkers and Cameco Corp. have reached a tentative agreement on a new collective agreement for workers at two Saskatchewan uranium mines.
Ratification votes will be conducted over the next two weeks by members of Steelworkers Local 8914 who work at Cameco's Key Lake and McArthur River mines.
The union is recommending acceptance of the tentative deal, says USW representative Randy Gatzka.
