TORONTO, Jan. 25, 2013 /CNW/ - SteriPro Canada has reached an agreement with Women's College Hospital (WCH) to take over management of the hospital's Sterile Processing Services, effective December 3, 2012. SteriPro Canada specializes in the sterilization of reusable medical devices. The initial term of the agreement is 10 years with SteriPro providing services both at WCH and from its Mississauga central sterilization facility.
Women's College joins Humber River Hospital and Trillium Health Partners (formerly Trillium Health Centre and Credit Valley Hospital) as one of the first hospitals to take advantage of SteriPro's facilities and services to further enhance patient care and safety. Additionally, SteriPro is providing services to community health partners (including district health units, general practitioners and surgical centres) throughout Ontario.
