Stories of surpassing limits will seek to inspire delegates at day two of
HealthAchieve 2010
TORONTO, Nov. 9 /CNW/ - Day two of HealthAchieve 2010 will shed light on inspiring stories of surpassing limits, motivating delegates to achieve their personal best in their professional lives. HealthAchieve is North America's largest and most-respected health-care conference and exhibition, shedding light on our health care successes and where we can improve. The show will take place from November 8th to10th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Motivational speaker, Nick Vujicic, who was born without arms or legs, will share with delegates the major keys in fulfilling dreams - persistence and choosing to embrace failure as a learning experience.
During our Going for Gold session, Canada's most decorated Olympians including Alexandre Bilodeau, Jennifer Heil, Clara Hughes and Lauren Woolstencroft will share their personal stories of surpassing limits and overcoming obstacles. The conversation will be moderated by award-winning sports broadcaster, Brian Williams.
Next, we'll take a look at the new way forward for Ontario's small, rural and northern health care centres. Moderated by CBC's Jian Ghomeshi, a panel of experts including Dr. Jack Kitts, Dr. Denis Richard Roy, Dr. Brian Goldman, Colin Goodfellow and Dr. David Levine will explore how innovative ideas are helping to overcome some of the unique challenges of providing quality health care to small, rural and northern communities.
During our session specifically designed for students interested in the health care field, Nutritionist Meghan Telpner will talk about how the food that we put into our lives will directly affect what we get out of it.
