StrategyCorp welcomes former NDP staffer and public affairs professional Kevin Dorse to its growing roster
TORONTO, Nov. 16, 2017 /CNW/ - StrategyCorp is pleased to announce that experienced government relations professional Kevin Dorse will be joining our team.
Kevin comes to StrategyCorp after nearly eight years at the Canadian Credit Union Association where he managed a team responsible for expanding member reputation and reach. A leading practitioner of authentic grassroots government relations in Canada, he built an advocacy network that has contributed to improved awareness of the sector and advanced files with federal legislators, officials and agencies and organized one of the country's largest annual advocacy days.
Previously, Kevin worked with the New Democratic Party on Parliament Hill for more than a decade, including creating and leading one of the first rapid response reputation management functions under former leader Jack Layton. Prior to that, he served as secretary to the party's national caucus and was a researcher in the leader's office briefing MPs and staff on a range of policy files. He has served as a central campaign strategist in NDP war rooms through five federal and provincial elections.
In addition, Kevin brings a keen understanding of realities facing the association, non-profit and cooperative sectors. He has advised executives and spoken on grassroots government relations to business audiences in Canada, the United States and Caribbean.
Kevin holds a Master of Arts from Carleton and a BA from Laurentian. Based in Ottawa, he will be providing insights into governments and politics at all three levels across Canada.
