Early Warning Information

CALGARY, June 23 /CNW/ - StrikePoint Gold Inc. ("StrikePoint") Suite 300, 5 Richard Way S.W. Calgary AB T3E 7M8, acquired control of 10,000,000 common shares ("Common Shares") of Ressources Appalaches Inc. ("Appalaches") and 10,000,000 Common Share purchase warrants ("Warrants") pursuant to the terms of the previously announced joint venture agreement between StrikePoint and Appalaches.

StrikePoint directly acquired the 10,000,000 Common Shares and 10,000,000 Warrants as part of a private placement of units ("Units"), where each Unit is comprised of one Common Share and one Warrant. The Units were issued by way of private placement at $0.07 per Unit and the Warrants forming part of the Units are exercisable for Common Shares at a price of $0.10 per Common Share at any time in the next three years.

Assuming the exercise of the Warrants, StrikePoint has direct ownership and control over 20,000,000 Common Shares of Appalaches, representing in the aggregate 19% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares of Appalaches. There were no parties acting jointly or in concert with StrikePoint regarding the acquisition of the securities. Other than the exercise of the Warrants, StrikePoint has no current future intention to acquire ownership or control over additional securities of Appalaches.

Section 2.3 of National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions was relied upon with respect to the issuance of the Common Shares and Warrants to StrikePoint. A copy of the early warning report for StrikePoint will be filed on SEDAR.
