Study and Go Abroad Fairs in Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto highlight global education opportunities
VANCOUVER, Feb. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - The cross-Canada Study and Go Abroad Fairs offer students in Canada an opportunity to meet face-to-face with top-ranked universities from the UK, USA, Australia, Switzerland, the Caribbean, Germany, Italy, Canada, France and many other countries to learn about undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as certificate and diploma programs in a large range of subject areas including Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Business, Technology, Science, and Culinary and Liberal Arts. The expo's Travel Zone will feature gap year and other travel options such as volunteering, work abroad, internships and language training. The fairs are open to the public and admission is free of charge.
"To remain competitive in the world, Canada needs a workforce with a sound knowledge of other cultures and languages and an ability to network with people from around the world. Students who have studied abroad are more likely to be globally engaged citizens," says Katie Idle, Director of Sales and Marketing.
Visitors to the Study and Go Abroad Fair have a unique opportunity to learn about post-secondary admission requirements, available scholarships and exciting destinations for both studies and travel. Students are recommended to arrive early, one hour before the expo opens in each city, to attend the feature presentation on Scholarships: Myths and Tips.
Exhibitor profiles, scholarship information and seminar schedules for the STUDY AND GO ABROAD FAIR can be found online at www.studyandgoabroad.com, along with details of how to enter the Grand Prize Draw to win an international Air Canada flight.
