Study Reveals RVing is Most Affordable Vacation Type
Montreal RV Show Opens Tomorrow
MONTREAL, March 10 /CNW Telbec/ - With the opening of the 2010 Montreal RV Show tomorrow, Go RVing Canada reports that RV vacations remain the most cost-effective form of travel for Canadians.
Go RVing Canada recently released a cost-comparison study conducted by PKF Consulting, which found that typical RV vacations are up to 75 per cent less expensive per day than any other type of family trip, regardless of trip duration, distance, or location.
To add another component of affordability, Go RVing Canada reports that RV prices are at an all time low.
"We are seeing increased activity and sales in our showrooms as the economy recovers," said Go RVing Canada spokesperson Catherine Fortin LeFaivre, "so now is absolutely the right time to buy before prices start rising again."
According to Tourism Quebec, the number of RVers went up 3.9 per cent in 2009, as compared to the previous year. Go RVing Canada expects this trend to continue this season as the RV and travel show season progresses and summer approaches.
The Montreal RV Show runs from March the 11th to March the 14th, 2010 at Montreal's Olympic Stadium. The event will be a great opportunity for the public to find everything under one roof: RVs, accessories, vacation ideas and much more. Several conferences which speak of RV types, maintenance tips and equipment will be available to visitors.
