MONTREAL, April 10, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Le Château, Canada's leading fashion-forward retailer of lifestyle clothing for men and women reigns in the spring season with two newly designed stores unveiled in the Montreal area; at Les Galeries d'Anjou and Le Carrefour Laval. The brand boasts a refreshing, modern retail direction with similar new concept stores to roll out nationally over the next 3-5 years.
The Carrefour Laval women's wear, dress and footwear boutique at 5,856 square feet joins the Carrefour Laval menswear store, Les Galeries d'Anjou and several other national stores that have recently been transformed. The sleek redesign features a bright, minimalistic interior highlighted by custom-designed furnishings and an overall, zen-like approach to merchandising the company's designer lifestyle fashions. The transformation is part of a long-term, strategic brand evolution positioning Le Château as Canada's leading fashion shopping destination, appealing to a broad, urban customer.
"Le Château has always been a design-driven fashion leader," says Franco Rocchi, Senior VP of Sales & Marketing. "Today, we recognize that our modern, on-trend looks are sought after by a sophisticated clientele who wants a well-curated shopping experience, and that's exactly what we're giving them with our new concept locations."
BOUTIQUE CHIC
At Carrefour Laval, there's a sense of shopping on Fifth Avenue without the expensive price tags. The impressively designed 80-ft. storefront stands out with a glamorous hit of chrome, as does the digital backdrop to the cash desk and the custom 'futuristic' triangular pendant light fixture anchoring the three distinct women's boutiques. This new retail space accentuates the clothing with its taupe and grey backdrop, while pointing to accents of nickel fixtures and glass shelving denoting an upscale environment. Backlit accessory walls showcase handbags, while custom footwear displays draw attention to exciting leather designer collections. The centre of the store features runway-like fixtures that highlight jewellery and small wardrobe must-haves. Merchandised as lifestyle niches from career to casual, colourful seasonal collections are displayed clearly.
NEW!! LEATHER FOOTWEAR & HANDBAGS
Well-made, stylish and competitively priced, the new footwear section features designer labels, including: Corso Como, Franco Sarto and Jessica Simpson. Alongside these designer labels, you'll find private label collections of leather footwear and handbags many of which are made in Italy and feature superior craftsmanship and quality.
