MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce its highest sales ever in a single month with 3,603 units sold, an impressive increase of 28.6 percent over the same period last year. These record-breaking results propel Subaru's sales pace towards another all-time annual record for 2013 as the company celebrates a trifecta of successes, with each month's results besting the previously set record.
Subaru's immensely successful 2014 Forester wowed consumers in the compact SUV market as sales rose by 44.8 percent with 1,118 units retailed. Total Subaru WRX and WRX STI sales also increased by 10.7 percent over last May, while Subaru BRZ sales also climbed 14.5 percent above target.
