SUBWAY® CANADA celebrates the launch of the Informed Dining program in Manitoba
TORONTO, Sept. 30, 2013 /CNW/ - Today, the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association announced the launch of the Informed Dining program across the province of Manitoba. SUBWAY® Restaurants, a participant of Informed Dining, is proud to celebrate this launch.
The Informed Dining program was developed by the Province of British Columbia and launched in May 2012. Manitoba is the second province in Canada to adopt the Informed Dining program. This program ensures that involved restaurants are providing customers with nutritional values like caloric and sodium content in their standard menu choices.
"At SUBWAY® Canada, we are committed to giving our customers a variety of healthy food options, and the Informed Dining program is another step in providing our customers with all of the nutritional information they need," said Kathleen Bell, Director of National Marketing, SUBWAY® Restaurants of Canada. "We are proud to partner with the Informed Dining program in Manitoba and are looking forward to seeing the benefits of this initiative roll out."
As the program continues to move across Canada, SUBWAY® Restaurants is looking forward to continuing their partnership with the Informed Dining program, and bringing the right information to their customers so they can lead a healthy, active lifestyle.
