Summitt Energy calls on others to participate in World Vision's matching program
MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 8, 2013 /CNW/ - Once again, Summitt Energy has donated to World Vision's matching campaign; a fantastic incentive program where each dollar donated by an individual or organization is matched by World Vision.
For three years, Summitt Energy has supported World Vision Canada and has assisted with various initiatives such as disaster relief, child welfare, community growth, gift donation and World Vision's child sponsorship program.
"It's important that we support groups such as World Vision year-round and matching programs are a great way to do it," said Jeff Borg, Senior Vice President at Summit Energy. "Summitt Energy employees have also chosen to be a part of the child sponsorship program. We enjoy receiving updates, letters and photos."
World Vision's mission to "develop national strategies with community-based organizations to advance the peace and well being of children, their families, and the communities in which they live" is one of the reasons that Summitt Energy continues to act as a supportive force throughout the years.
Summitt Energy supports charities and events throughout many local communities in Canada.
