Sunrise Medical announces the 7th Annual Co-ed Beach Volleyball Tournament

Smash, Serve & Volley on Saturday, May 25^th, 2013!

TORONTO, May 24, 2013 /CNW/ - Sunrise Medical Canada Inc. announces its 7^th Annual Co-ed Beach Volleyball Tournament which will be taking place at Beach Blast (15 Leswyn Road, Toronto) starting promptly at 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The goal for this tournament is to have fun while raising money. This year, all funds raised will be donated to the Canadian Spinal Research Organization (CSRO), an organization dedicated to finding a cure for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury or other neurological deficits. New this year, we have implemented the 'Pledge Incentive Program' which allows each participant to create a personal fundraising page and reach out to friends, family and co-workers.

With the ongoing AODA legislation implementation in Ontario, this type of event is vital to promoting early awareness for the general population. Competing manufacturing companies from the assistive device industry, several dealers, service providers and health professionals will gather on May 25^th for a friendly competition for this important cause. We need your support and for you to attend this important event!

The Canadian Spinal Research Organization (CSRO) (http://www.csro.com) - is dedicated to the improvement of the physical quality of life for persons with a spinal cord injury and those with related neurological deficits, through targeted medical and scientific research. The CSRO is also committed to the reduction of spinal cord injuries through awareness programs for the general public and prevention programs for targeted groups.
