TORONTO, April 24, 2018 /CNW/ - In light of the recent tragic events in Toronto, the Tema Conter Memorial Trust, in partnership with Wounded Warriors Canada, Toronto Beyond the Blue (Toronto Police Services Family Assistance program), and the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) from the University of Regina, have established the Toronto's First Responders Fund. One hundred percent of the funds donated will be used to provide mental health support services to the first responders involved in the event.

The Tema Conter Memorial Trust and Wounded Warriors Canada have worked together recently to raise over $150,000 in support of the first responders who were involved in the recent events in Humboldt.
