Svitzer Canada Limited and the Canadian Merchant Service Guild reach a collective agreement - Minister Leitch congratulates both parties Français
OTTAWA, May 11, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, the Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, congratulated Svitzer Canada Limited and the Canadian Merchant Service Guild on the renewal of their collective agreement.
The agreement was reached with assistance from the Labour Program's Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS). The FMCS provides dispute resolution and dispute prevention assistance to trade unions and employers under the jurisdiction of the Canada Labour Code.
