OTTAWA, Oct. 30, 2015 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will preside over the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Justin Trudeau, Canada's 23rd prime minister, and members of the 29th Canadian ministry. The event will take place in the Rideau Hall Ballroom on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 10:30 a.m.
The swearing-in ceremony will be followed by an official photo of the Governor General with the newly sworn-in Prime Minister and ministers.
Members of the public are invited to be on the grounds of Rideau Hall as of 9 a.m. on the day of the ceremony to witness the arrival of the Prime Minister-designate and members of the ministry. More details about the swearing-in ceremony will be released over the coming days.
