Symantec Executive Sean Maxwell Appointed as Chief Commercial Officer at Absolute
VANCOUVER, Jan. 5, 2016 /CNW/ - Absolute® Software Corporation (TSX: ABT) the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and data risk management solutions, today announced that technology industry veteran Sean Maxwell will join Absolute as Chief Commercial Officer on February 1, 2016. Maxwell will also become a member of the Absolute senior executive committee, reporting to Geoff Haydon, Chief Executive Officer.

Most recently Maxwell was Vice President, Global Sales Strategy & Field Enablement at Symantec. In this role he was responsible for global sales and go-to-market planning – from defining the sales strategy to delivering quarterly results. He also led the sales training and enablement functions. Prior to his work at Symantec, Maxwell held sales leadership roles with Virtual Instruments and EMC.
