Syncrude Sponsors Annual Fundraiser for the Stollery Children's Hospital

The Stollery is renowned for providing exceptional medical care to children from across Alberta. In fact, it provides many specialized services that are not available in smaller communities like Fort McMurray.
About 25 percent of all patients at the Stollery are from communities across northern Alberta, including many from Fort McMurray. This statistic shows that the Stollery is an important extension of the services available in the local community.
"It's likely that a number of Stollery patients are the children of local residents," said Katinas. "That brings its value very close to home here in Fort McMurray."
