HALIFAX, Nov. 25 /CNW/ - T4G Limited, a project-based technology services company that grows customers' businesses through smart technology solutions, last night captured the Better Business Bureau's Sixth annual Maritime Business Ethics Award.
The BBB across the Maritime Provinces, along with presenting sponsor CJM Solutions+, look for businesses that go beyond the average in maintaining high standards of ethical behavior, and do what is right and fair, without question and without compromise. T4G won the category for the largest companies with 100 or more employees.
"I am proud to be part of a company that always strives to do the right thing," says Geoff Flood, President of T4G Limited. "It is no coincidence that our trademarked company slogan is The Intelligent Application of Technology™. We provide our customers with the right technology solutions to improve their businesses, not simply the latest bells and whistles."
BBB President Don MacKinnon presented T4G, and the other four category winners, with the ethics award at the World Trade Centre in Halifax.
"This recognition is truly appreciated because it is really about the people who work at T4G," says Mr. Flood. "We attract people who have a passion for serving our customers and a passion for community building. We believe we have an obligation to do more than just make a profit: From voluntarily building playgrounds in the inner cities to supporting Halifax's Bridge Centre for Arts and Technology (Bridge CAT) to raising more than $1 million the last several years for children's charities through T4G's Future Focus Foundation.
"This passion for doing what's right obviously reflects back into their work and customers know that. Perhaps the best and most absolute measure of performance when it comes to customer satisfaction is longevity. Eight of T4G's Top 10 customers have been customers for more than five years. We deliver superior work, and our customers know it - which is why we keep getting invited back year after year," Mr. Flood adds.
T4G congratulates the other winners: L'Arche Cape Breton in not-for-profit; Propeller Brewing Company for fewer than 15 employees; Survival Systems Ltd. for 16-50 employees; and Northeastern Investigations for 51-100 employees.
