Industry event designed to attract top talent and employers
TORONTO, April 12, 2017 /CNW/ - The Toronto Animation Arts Festival International (TAAFI) will kick off this year's programming with its annual industry job fair. TAAFI is collaborating with Computer Animation Studios of Ontario (CASO) to host the TAAFI x CASO Animation VFX Job Fair in Toronto at George Brown College's Waterfront Campus on April 29, 2017.
The TAAFI x CASO Animation VFX Job Fair is a one-of-a-kind recruitment event connecting top studios with Canada's best animation, visual effects and gaming students and professionals.
"We expect this year's job fair be a top draw for studios, professionals and students from the industry," said Barnabas Wornoff, co-founder and chair, TAAFI. "In the past, we developed the job fair to accommodate the specific job-seeking and networking needs of our attendees. Partnering with CASO allows us to expand and connect our growing community with leading studios from Ontario."
The Exhibitors' Concourse will include studios and recruiting booths for networking with students and professionals. The job fair space will also feature an expanded Interview Zone that will enable recruiters to meet with potential candidates, one-on-one, to assess portfolios and view online demo reels.
