Enter The Eggs Factor contest for the chance to win 1 of 12 iPad minis
TORONTO, March 6, 2013 /CNW/ - To celebrate Easter and one of Ontario families' favourite pastimes, Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO) is announcing the launch of The Eggs Factor contest. Egg artists of all ages have the chance to win 1 of 12 iPad minis. For each contest entry, EFO will donate a dozen eggs to Breakfast Clubs of Canada.
The Eggs Factor, an online egg-decorating contest, provides Ontarians with the opportunity to design their own egg-Picasso or Rembrandt while helping the Breakfast Clubs of Canada provide daily nourishment to school children.
"The Eggs Factor is a creative activity for all ages," said Abby Bagwell, Gift and Partner Development Advisor with Breakfast Clubs of Canada. "It provides a great opportunity for us to partner with Egg Farmers of Ontario and fulfill our mission of feeding children's futures and raising awareness of the importance of breakfast for kids."
Running from March 6th to April 2nd, The Eggs Factor is divided into six age categories: 0-5, 6-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-59 and 60-plus. A panel of eggs-perts - Ontario egg farmers - will shortlist each category to six entries. The chosen entries will then be posted on eggsfactor.ca, where Canadians will have the chance to cast their votes from April 4th to14th. The top two winners of each age category will be awarded an iPad mini. Egg artists will also have the chance to win weekly prizes.
"We encourage everyone to channel their inner artist and enter their most creative and quirky designs," says Harry Pelissero, EFO General Manager. "Our goal is to donate thousands of local, farm-fresh eggs to Breakfast Clubs of Canada, helping to provide kids with a healthy start to their day."
Eggsfactor.ca also offers downloadable colouring pages and helpful egg decorating tips for those who want to try their hand at offline egg design.
Now iPad-compatible, Ontarians can enter The Eggs Factor contest by visiting www.eggsfactor.ca, before April 2, 2013. The winning eggs will be announced on April 17th.
