Takeda Canada, Inc. Names New General Manager

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 13 /CNW/ - Takeda Canada, Inc. today announced the appointment of Paul Friel as general manager and president effective immediately.

Friel joined Takeda in 1991 and prior to Takeda Canada, Inc. held the role as senior commercial director, Latin America, at Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc. where he played a leadership role in the establishment of Takeda Mexico and Takeda Brazil. Friel has also held various positions at Takeda across the commercial areas of sales, marketing and business development.

Daaron Dohler, who has served as general manager and president of Takeda Canada, Inc. since April 2009, has been named vice president, strategic partnering of the Global Licensing and Business Development department within Takeda's International Operations organization.
