Tangerine Matching Client Donations Towards Canadian Red Cross Response To Syrian Refugee Crisis
TORONTO, Sept. 10, 2015 /CNW/ - Starting Tuesday September 15, 2015, Tangerine clients can use their existing Tangerine Chequing Account to make an online donation to the Canadian Red Cross in support of those affected by the Syrian refugee crisis. Tangerine will match every dollar donated up to $50,000 with all funds going directly to the Canadian Red Cross Refugee Crisis Appeal.
Tangerine is supporting the efforts of the Red Cross to provide essential relief items including food, water, first aid and psychological support to those affected by this ongoing refugee crisis.
To donate, clients can simply log in to their online banking and click "I want to help." Tangerine will be matching donations starting Tuesday September 15, 2015 until October 10, 2015, up to $50,000.
A tax receipt will be provided by the Canadian Red Cross for donations of $20 or more.
