Tangerine Matching Client Donations towards Canadian Red Cross West Africa Ebola Fund
TORONTO, Oct. 6, 2014 Starting today, Tangerine clients can make a donation online using their existing Tangerine account in support of Ebola relief efforts in West Africa through the Canadian Red Cross. All donations will go entirely to the Canadian Red Cross, and Tangerine will match the total amount donated up to $50,000 from now until November 6, 2014.
This is the first time an outbreak of this size is being experienced in West Africa across many countries, including Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The Canadian Red Cross has deployed a number of Canadians to West Africa to provide on-the-ground support and help stop the deadly disease from spreading.
