MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 13, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Target Canada is donating $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to assist with relief efforts in Lac-Mégantic. "Our thoughts are with the people of Lac-Mégantic. Our hearts go out to all of those affected by this tragedy, and we hope we can give a helping hand to the residents and families still going through a tough time," said Tony Fisher, president, Target Canada.
Target will open 25 stores in Quebec in the fall of 2013. The company is dedicated to being a good neighbour in all it does, and donates 5% of its profit to local communities to provide better access to healthy food, active play and education for children and families.
