Taxi Candare becomes Taxi Diamond

Taxi Candare, which serves the Nouveaux Bordeaux-Cartierville - Saint-Laurent area, now operating under the Taxi Diamond banner

MONTREAL, June 22, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Taxi Diamond is pleased to announce that effective June 1, Taxi Candare began operating under the Taxi Diamond banner. The 125 Taxi Candare vehicles now display the name and colours of Taxi Diamond, which acquired Taxi Candare in 1989. The change will see Taxi Diamond harmonize its entire Montreal fleet and expand the services offered by its drivers in the Saint-Laurent borough and Nouveaux-Bordeaux and Cartierville area.

Service improvements

"Taxi Candare has been a member of the Diamond family for many years," explained Dominique Roy, CEO of Taxi Diamond. "We wanted to offer our clients and drivers in these districts the same advantages available in the rest of our network."

This change of banner will allow Taxi Diamond to:

• offer clients in these districts the ability to order a cab using the Taxi Diamond mobile application;
• offer clients the AIR MILES^® program, which enables them to earn reward Miles each time they order a cab using the mobile application;
• expand the geographic coverage of its drivers, who will no longer be limited to calls solely from the Nouveaux Bordeaux-Cartierville - Saint-Laurent area;
• fully integrate this fleet of cabs into the Taxi Diamond marketing operations.
