TORONTO, Sept. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - TD Bank Group presents Art with Heart, Casey House's signature fundraiser, October 17 at the Carlu. Over its 19-year history Art with Heart has earned a deserved reputation as an unparalleled contemporary art auction experience, benefiting treatment and support at Casey House, Toronto's HIV/AIDS specialty hospital.

"Once again, this year's collection is a first-class Canadian contemporary art show, and we are honoured to once again present such a high-calibre event raising essential funds for the diverse health care needs of individuals and communities who continue to be deeply affected by HIV/AIDS."
This year's 86-lot collection features work by some of the most esteemed contemporary artists working in Canada today, including a collaboration by Adad Hannah and Denys Arcand, as well as works by Attila Richard Lukacs, Angela Leach, Charles Pachter, Kym Greeley, John Scott, Edward Burtynsky, Nicholas Pye, Sandy Plotnikoff, Medrie MacPhee, Toni Hafkenscheid, David Urban and James Lahey.
Casey House and the Art with Heart committee are pleased to additionally present two limited editions available now at www.artwithheart.ca. Sponsored by Urbacon, the Gallery of Patrons Limited Edition by Kent Monkman is entitled "Modern Love." Priced at $2,000, each of the 25 editions is produced as a giclée print on canvas, with individually hand-painted details added by the world-renowned artist. The June Callwood Artist's Multiple by Paul Butler entitled "Friends/Friends" is priced at an accessible $150. Mounted on plexi, the piece is designed to be snapped in half, with one half presented to a special friend.
Also hotly anticipated each year at Art with Heart is the Emerging Artists Collection, sponsored by Volvo Cars of Canada and featuring young artists whose work has been judged by the curatorial committee to demonstrate significant promise. Regular attendees to Art with Heart recognize the annual event as an opportunity not only to acquire hotly contested work by established Canadian artists, but also to purchase early works by artists whose careers are on the ascent.
