TD Waterhouse presents Art with Heart November 3 - Strongest collection to
date features contemporary take on Canada

TORONTO , Oct. 15 /CNW/ - TD Waterhouse presents Art with Heart, Casey House's signature fundraiser, November 3 at the Carlu. Over the past 16 years Art with Heart has earned a deserved reputation as an unparalleled art auction experience.

Canada takes centre stage in many of this year's Art with Heart offerings, from Diana Thorneycroft's photographed diorama of Bob and Doug McKenzie surrounded by white wolves, to Kent Monkman's watercolour of a glamorously garbed Aboriginal man (cheekily submitted to Canada Post for stamp consideration), to Michael Awad's dizzying panoramic photograph of a CNE ride and BGL's visceral image of deer hooves scarring a modern white plaster surface. These and many other works in the 84-lot collection put contemporary and insightful spins on what it means to be Canadian. Other esteemed artists in the collection include James Lahey , Edward Burtynsky, Greg Girard , Shelley Adler , Katie Pretti , Micah Lexier and Ed Pien.

TD Waterhouse, the Presenting Sponsor of Art with Heart 2009, is returning for its ninth year of support for this event.
