Technical Briefing - Uber & insurance issues

What: Peter Karageorgos of the Insurance Bureau of Canada, Philomena Comerfored, CEO, Baird MacGregor Insurance and Craig Hirota, ACCRO Services will present an overview of the provincial insurance requirements and risks in the ridesharing model used by firms such as Uber and Lyft. 

Councillors, staff and media are welcome to attend and get answers to their questions before this issue comes back to Council in September. Information packages will be available for pick-up by staff.
