Technomedia Completes the Advanced Audio Video Design and Integration at the New Brooklyn Bowl, Las Vegas

AUSTIN, TX, May 14, 2014 /CNW/ - Technomedia, a Mood Media Company, recently completed the engineering and installation of the spectacular interactive audio visual entertainment experience at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas. This is the third location for the popular and expanding concept which combines a family-friendly bowling alley and Blue Ribbon restaurant and bar with live concert music and entertainment.
Brooklyn Bowl has redefined the destination entertainment experience and has been described as "one of the most incredible places on earth," according to Rolling Stone. The new Las Vegas location opened doors to the public last month in The Linq, a new dining, shopping and nightlife district in the heart of the Vegas Strip.
The Brooklyn Bowl experience fits perfectly in the pedestrian-friendly Linq which has an energized neighborhood vibe with al fresco dining, live entertainment and imaginative common-area happenings. The two-level, 80,000 square-foot facility features 32 bowling lanes and a 2000-guest concert venue with headliners that will include Elvis Costello & The Roots, The Avett Brothers, Jane's Addiction, Phil Lesh & Friends, The String Cheese Incident, Cake and Primus.
Technomedia engineered and integrated the audio visual system that helps to create the signature Brooklyn Bowl experience. The incredible live performance audio system by d&b audiotechnik designed and commissioned by SIA Acoustics delivers an amazing experience unmatched by other venues its size. Long-time colleagues, John Miceli, president of Technomedia, and Sam Berkow, owner of SIA, have worked together many times in the past decade to set the bar for quality sound, and Brooklyn Bowl is no exception.
In addition to the amazing sound, the venue includes two 90-foot LED walls over the bowling lanes, with 16 live visual feeds and 60 LED digital signage displays, designed and integrated by Technomedia. The system provides a platform for streaming sports, recorded media and live stage footage throughout the venue. While the technology is complex, multiple wireless touch panels located throughout the space allow for simple and intuitive control.
