MONTREAL, Sept. 16, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - This afternoon, Technoparc Montréal was delighted by the announcement that Videotron would invest $40 million at Technoparc Montréal's Saint-Laurent Campus. The announcement was made in the presence of Denis Coderre, Mayor of Montreal, Pierre Dion, President and CEO of Quebecor, and Manon Brouillette, President and CEO of Videotron.
Videotron acquired the 4Degrees Data Center in Quebec City this past March and now plans to build a data housing centre at the campus, thereby positioning itself as a key industry player.
Mr. Mario Monette, President and CEO of Technoparc Montréal, expressed his delight at seeing this major project come to fruition here in Montreal. "We couldn't be more pleased to welcome Videotron to Technoparc Montréal's Saint-Laurent Campus."
