TechWyse provides unique tool for Facebook Promoted Posts
Ensures photos for promoted posts meet 20 percent text guideline
TORONTO, April 17, 2013 /CNW/ - Facebook has been busy creating new ways to advertise on its network. One of the most prevalent in the last year has been Promoted Posts, which come with approval guidelines that can sometimes slow down postings and diminish their relevancy. TechWyse has put together a handy tool to quickly determine whether the images being used in Promoted Posts meet those guidelines.
With Promoted Posts, virtually any type of post can be promoted to appear in the news feeds of target audiences, including those who don't follow the brand. Promoted Posts using an image are required to have less than 20 percent text within the image.
TechWyse's new tool is based on the outline given in Facebook's Text Policy, and allows users to quickly and easily see if a promoted image will be approved or not.
This is a challenge many agencies face, as Promoted Posts can often remain in "Pending" status for up to 48 hours before being declined. This can often diminish a post's timeliness and relevancy, throwing off entire campaign schedules.
