Teen-Age Girl set to swim across Lake Ontario in support of Jumpstart
ST. CATHARINES, ON, July 31, 2014 /CNW/ - Following in the footsteps of her mother, Christine Arsenault, Trinity Arsenault will be swimming across Lake Ontario this week. Trinity will become the youngest swimmer to cross Lake Ontario and will achieve 2 more world records with this swim.
Trinity wants these records to further the work of Jumpstart in our communities. She is hoping to raise enough funds to help over 100 children access good programming in their communities.
Being from a single parent family she knows first-hand the challenges of accessing good programming. She wants kids to enjoy being involved in sport and have the ability to access quality programs.
Needed donations to help her reach her fundraising goal can be made at: http://gogetfunding.com/project/trinity-s-lake-ontario-swim#/project_details
Trinity will be accompanied by world record holder Vicki Keith and members of the St. Catharines Fire Fighters Association. She will also have with her Ashleigh Elizabeth (youngest American to cross Lake Ontario) and her mother, Christine Arsenault- also a seasoned open water swimmer.
