Telefilm Canada Congratulates the 2010 Genie Award Winners
MONTREAL, April 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Telefilm Canada congratulates the winners of the 30th edition of the Genie Awards, the annual ceremony recognizing the best of Canadian film. The awards were handed out last night in 24 categories.
"For the past 30 years, the Genie Awards have been an important celebration of Canadian cinema, rewarding the talent of our actors, producers, directors and all other film artists," stated Carolle Brabant, Telefilm Canada's Executive Director. "It is my pleasure to congratulate the winners and finalists of the 2010 Genie Awards, a line-up that reflects the diversity of Canada's cinema, highlighting work from both veterans and emerging talent and acknowledging filmmakers from a wealth of backgrounds."
