Telefilm Canada funds production of three French-language films for total investment of $1.4 million Français
Two films directed by emerging women filmmakers
MONTREAL, July 12, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Telefilm Canada is funding the production, through the Canada Feature Film Fund, of three French-language films for a total of $1.4 million. The funded projects are two films directed by emerging women filmmakers—Toujours ensemble, by Sophie Dupuis, and Pour toujours, by Geneviève Dulude-De Celles—and one by director Marc Bisaillon, L'Amour. It should be noted that Dulude-De Celles obtained funding under Telefilm's Micro-Budget Production Program for Bienvenue à F.L. in 2014-2015.
Telefilm's most recent funding decisions for French-language projects were announced on April 26, 2016, with the organization investing $17 million in 17 films.
