Telefilm Canada provides $6 million in funding to support the production of eight new feature films in French Français
MONTREAL, May 31, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Telefilm Canada is backing the production of eight new feature films in French through the Canada Feature Film Fund. This is the second selection for fiscal 2012-2013. Telefilm is investing some $6 million for this second round out of a total of over $15 million invested for 2012-2013.
"This diverse selection spotlights Canadian talent that promises to make a name for themselves by their success on the national and international scene," said Michel Pradier, Telefilm's Director of Project Financing.
According to Marie-France Godbout, National Director, Feature Films - French Market, "Audiences are sure to be pleased since these films run the gauntlet of every emotion, from laughter to tears. Telefilm applauds the creativity of the teams that have brought us great stories with fascinating characters and well-constructed plots."

Two brothers have very different experiences of their father Henri's decline into Alzheimer's. Éric is there every day and harbours a silent rage against his brother Gabriel, who is away on endless journeys as a reporter. In Afghanistan, Gabriel sees death up close, while Éric struggles to look after their father. The brothers will try to bring serenity to Henri's last moments. L'autre maison is documentary filmmaker Mathieu Roy's first fictional feature. A French co-production starring Michel Bouquet.

This regional animated film is full of humour and comic situations that will surely delight kids!

Unfortunately the package of sausages containing the tooth was bought by a couple with money problems who intend to make the most of the situation.
