TELETOON at Night Enters the Danger Zone with the 5th Season of Archer

TORONTO, Jan. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - Master spy Sterling Archer's debonair charm returns to TELETOON at Night in the highly-anticipated Season 5 of Archer, making its Canadian premiere on Monday, January 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, day-and-date with FX in the U.S. New episodes of this award-winning series will premiere Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TELETOON at Night each week, with episodes repeating Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy that revolves around the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS) and the lives of its employees. Although their work of espionage, reconnaissance missions, wiretapping and undercover surveillance is daunting and dangerous, every covert operation and global crisis is actually just another excuse for the ISIS staff to undermine, sabotage and betray each other for personal gain. The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, Adam Reed and Lucky Yates. Archer was created by Adam Reed who also serves as Executive Producer, alongside Executive Producer Matt Thompson and their Floyd County Productions who animates the series. Archer is produced by FX Productions. Season 5 consists of 13 half-hour episodes.

In the lead-up to the new season, from Monday, January 6 to Friday, January 10 at 11 p.m. ET/PT, TELETOON at Night will present special "How to Archer" episodes from previous Archer seasons, showcasing how to become more like the attractive and suave Sterling Archer in the areas of espionage, style, women and cocktails among others.

To coincide with the Season 5 premiere, TELETOON at Night will also offer viewers the following off-air activities to complete the Archer experience:

Archer fans cans catch up on the latest episodes of Archer on TELETOON at Night's video player on teletoonatnight.com. New Archer, Season 5 episodes will be available to all Canadians the day after the on-air broadcast each week, beginning Tuesday, January 14 and will remain online for two weeks following the initial airing.

How to Archer App
TELETOON at Night will launch its very own Archer app, How to Archer, at the end of January. The app will feature various Archer-style spy kit tools that provide users with important information related to all things Sterling Archer, including pick-up lines, comebacks, one-liners and "best of" Archer scenes. How to Archer will be available for iPhone and Android and will be accessible through iTunes and Google Play.

ISIS Career Placement Test on teletoonatnight.com
On teletoonatnight.com, viewers will have access to a brand new Archer activity, the ISIS Career Placement Test beginning Monday, January 6. The ISIS Career Placement Test is a mock online job interview for positions at ISIS in which users can answer an interactive series of multiple choice questions. After completing the interview, users find out which position they are best suited for at ISIS, including such wild and dangerous jobs as Field Agent, Accountant and Human Resources Specialist, among others and the results can be shared on Facebook and Twitter.
