TELETOON at Night Premieres Archer, Season 5 Day-and-Date with U.S. Broadcast

TORONTO, Nov. 26, 2013 /CNW/ - TELETOON at Night welcomes the highly-anticipated fifth season of the award-winning series Archer on Monday, January 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, premiering day-and-date with FX in the U.S. New episodes of this edgy animated spy series will premiere each week on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TELETOON at Night, mirroring the U.S. broadcast schedule. Season 5 episodes will repeat on Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT as part of the Fred at Night programming lineup.

Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy that revolves around the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS) and the lives of its employees. Although their work of espionage, reconnaissance missions, wiretapping and undercover surveillance is daunting and dangerous, every covert operation and global crisis is actually just another excuse for the ISIS staff to undermine, sabotage and betray each other for personal gain. The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, Adam Reed, and Lucky Yates. Archer was created by Adam Reed who also serves as Executive Producer alongside Executive Producer Matt Thompson and their Floyd County Productions who animates the series. Archer is produced by FX Productions. Season 5 consists of 13 half-hour episodes.

New episodes of Archer, Season 4 continue to premiere on Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT during the Fred at Night programming block on TELETOON at Night, with the season finale airing Thursday, December 5 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Fred at Night, TELETOON at Night's young adult destination, features a lineup of hit shows including Archer, Futurama, Family Guy, Robot Chicken and Fugget About It.
