MONTREAL, Jan. 29, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Tembec Inc. (the "Corporation") today announced that all of the nominees proposed as directors in the management information circular dated December 17, 2015 were duly elected as directors of the Corporation by a majority of the votes cast by the shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") held on January 28, 2016 in Montreal. The total number of shares voted by shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the Meeting was 79,679,438, representing 79.68% of the Corporation's outstanding shares. The results of the vote are detailed below.
Final voting results on all matters voted on at the Meeting will be filed on SEDAR.
