TerraPro Inc. Announces Appointment of Paul Shelley to the Board

SHERWOOD PARK, AB, May 20, 2016 /CNW/ - TerraPro Inc. ("TerraPro") is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Shelley to its Board of Directors effective May 19, 2016.  Mr. Shelley will fill the current vacancy on TerraPro's Board of Directors resulting in a full board roster of seven members. 

Mr. Shelley has over 25 years of experience in senior positions with an extensive background in leadership, strategic planning and implementation, finance, capital markets, investor relations and marketing.  He graduated with a B.Comm (Hons) from Queen's University and subsequently obtaining his CGA.  Following his studies, Mr. Shelley joined RBC Financial Group and served in various capacities. After 15 years with RBC, Mr. Shelley left to join GE Capital as an executive and officer and, for the next nine years, was responsible for the company's significant growth in Western Canada.  Since 2005, Mr. Shelley has been involved in various corporate finance, mergers, acquisitions and divestiture activities both as principal as well as a consultant.  He is currently a Director of Petrowest Corporation (TSX: PRW) as well as Aveda Transportation and Energy Services Inc. (TSX-V: AVE).
