In 1980 cancer survivor Terry Fox attempted to run across Canada on an artificial leg to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Today, The Terry Fox Foundation continues Terry's legacy by hosting over 9000 Terry Fox runs across Canada and has raised more than $700 million for innovative cancer research projects.
