NEW YORK, June 9, 2014 /CNW/ - Hycroft, LLC, a specialty investment bank focused exclusively on the alternative investments market, is pleased to announce that Terry L. Wetterman, Jr. has joined the Firm as a Director. Terry brings to Hycroft over 14 years of global private markets expertise across multiple investment strategies including buyouts, structured equity and credit, venture capital, real estate and intellectual property.
At Hycroft Mr. Wetterman will be responsible for performing due diligence on prospective clients and managing the execution of fund raising mandates, including advising clients on strategic positioning and capital-raising topics, the qualified targeting of prospective limited partners, coordination of fundraising processes, as well as advising on and documenting key partnership terms and conditions. Mr. Wetterman will also be involved in certain of Hycroft's secondary market initiatives.

Prior to joining Hycroft, Mr. Wetterman was Director of Investor Relations at Paul Capital where he was responsible for managing global fundraising processes and communications with new and existing investors. He previously served as Vice President at BerchWood Partners, a boutique placement agent firm, where he advised domestic and international general partners regarding their fundraising efforts. Mr. Wetterman began his career as a member of the Private Equity Funds Group at Merrill Lynch & Co., where he originated and executed fund raising mandates for over nine years.
Mr. Wetterman received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French (with Honors) from Middlebury College, and an International Program Degree in Political and Social Sciences from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris.
