TFO and Aféseo inaugurate Ontario's most innovative training lab for the early childhood education

TORONTO, Feb. 28, 2014 /CNW/ - Groupe Média TFO and the Association francophone à l'éducation des services à l'enfance de l'Ontario (Aféseo) are uniting their expertise to set up an inaugural training and experimentation laboratory in Aféseo offices in Ottawa. This follows the signature, on November 23, 2013, of a three-year memorandum of understanding between TFO and Aféseo aimed at promoting the Francophone education sector in Ontario while supporting the professional development of Francophone early childhood educators in the province.

This partnership will allow Aféseo members to take advantage of various interactive tools of the Labo TFO, which was designed and implemented by Groupe Média TFO. Through this alliance, they will be able to participate in distance education activities, and they will benefit from a yearly subscription to educational resources offered on the TFO Éducation website (tfo.org/education).

In return, Aféseo will offer privileged access to the laboratory through the TFO Éducation website, providing its training and professional development activities to Francophone early childhood educators and teachers and increasing its visibility on various platforms.

"A partnership with Aféseo will allow us to highlight our educational content for early childhood, to make the most of this association's knowledge, and to consolidate our presence on the educational market. Labo TFO will give teachers and educators a unique chance to explore technologies in education-particularly where tablets and mobile applications are concerned-and to update their training remotely. We are very excited to work together for early childhood education," said Julie Caron, Head of Educational Services at Groupe Média TFO.
