Thank you Newfoundland! Your small change adds up to more than $60,000 to help kids in the province
ST. JOHN'S, March 12, 2014 /CNW/ - President's Choice® Children's Charity is pleased to announce that its Your Small Change Can Make a Big One campaign has raised more than $60,000 thanks to the generosity of customers and employees at participating Dominion® locations in the province.
All money raised will go toward nutrition programs aimed at fighting childhood hunger and families whose children have physical or developmental disabilities in Newfoundland. Nationally, Loblaw banner grocery store customers donated more than $2.4 million as part of the Spring 2014 campaign.
"President's Choice® Children's Charity is committed to helping kids across Canada live life well. Through our grants for disability and donations to programs that fight childhood hunger, we want to help as many children as possible - ultimately having a positive impact on the next generation of Canadians," said Colin Nicolle, Atlantic Board Member, President's Choice® Children's Charity.

Since 1989, the charity has awarded $100 million, supporting more than 1.8 million children across Canada.
