QUÉBEC CITY, Sept. 30, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Registration is now open for the 18th edition of the OSEntreprendre Challenge (known, until very recently, as the Québec Entrepreneurship Contest). This Challenge is presented by the Desjardins Group.
This unique Challenge is an invitation to you to realize your dreams and ambitions. Through its Student Entrepreneurship division, which recognizes young people from elementary school all the way through to university, and its Business Creation division, which supports new entrepreneurs, the Challenge draws more than 40 000 participants each year. To encourage budding entrepreneurs to participate, Dominique Brown, President of Chocolats Favoris, will reprise his role as spokesperson for this 18th edition. To those who are seriously considering developing a school project or starting their own business, he dares you to rise to the Challenge and change the world!
Once again this year, considerable pride and over $700 000 in cash prizes are the rewards on offer for the winners at the local, regional and provincial levels. The provincial winners in the two main divisions will be announced at the Desjardins Grand Prize Gala, which will be held in Québec City on June 16, 2016.
We are particularly pleased to highlight the Québec government's commitment to the Successful Business Inc. Prize, which is offered to companies that have already taken part in the Challenge and are still operating after five years. The 2015 winner of this prize was Kéfiplant, a business in the Centre-du-Québec region.
Registration is now open!
Submit your project today by completing the online form at: www.osentreprendre.quebec. The submission deadline is 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016.
