The 2012 Blue Jays Honda Super Camps Head to Thunder Bay
TORONTO, June 29, 2012 /CNW/ - The ultimate baseball experience begins on Saturday, June 30 for approximately 70 participants at Port Arthur Stadium (Subway Field) in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Kids aged 8-14 will be learning and improving their skills and techniques from former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Duane Ward and other qualified Blue Jay instructors. The clinic will run from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and each participant will receive a Blue Jays hat, t-shirt, and instructional manual.
Toronto Blue Jays, through Jays Care Foundation, are funding two batting tunnels at Port Arthur Stadium through the Field of Dreams program. The batting tunnels are being utilized by Little League teams, children and youth camps, as well as local charitable and community groups.
