LONGUEUIL, QC, Feb. 6, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers (FPAQ) is pleased to present the 100 Maple Masters who will line the Maple Gourmet Road in 2013. Of these, 10 are new to the exclusive club this year. Coming from all four corners of Quebec and accredited by the Federation, the Maple Masters are known for their original and inventive use of maple products all year round.
Their delicious creations can be found in restaurants, cafés and bistros, pastry shops and bakeries, ice cream shops, chocolatiers and candy makers, delicatessens, hotels and inns, caterers and fine food stores. These establishments can be identified by the Maple Master's distinctive logo: an amber drop that draws its inspiration from the little decorative touch that culinary artists add when plating their dishes.
The new Maple Masters for this year are:
Bistro Kapzak, Sherbrooke, Eastern Townships
Auberge L'Estampilles, Baie-Saint-Paul, Charlevoix
Auberge restaurant Chez Octave, Montmagny, Chaudière-Appalaches
