The 2014 Trek for Tourette Aims to Stamp Out Misunderstanding and Raise More Donations Than Ever Before.
MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 18, 2014 /CNW/ - The 6th Annual Trek for Tourette will see thousands of people from communities across Canada putting their feet down to support The Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada (TSFC) in its annual fundraising drive. On Sunday, March 30 th, 2014, Canadians from all walks of life will be trekking - rain, snow or shine - to generate much-need donations and to bring awareness to Tourette Syndrome (TS), a poorly understood, heavily stigmatized neurological disorder that affects as many as one in 100 Canadian children and adults. It currently has no cure.

About the TSFC—Established in 1976, the TSFC is the only federally registered, charitable organization of volunteers assisting individuals affected by TS and its associated disorders through programs of education, advocacy, self-help and the promotion of research.
